The owners of The Pavillion and Avenue Catering, our executive chef, and the entire staff have placed a strong emphasis on food presentation, menu selection and value. We offer three main types of food service:

Our “progressive cocktail reception” is The Pavillion’s signature food service style. In 1988, we created the term “progressive cocktail reception” and pioneered the approach to serving our clients by having them “progress” from one themed food station to another during a reception. Since our successful development of the progressive cocktail reception, other caterers have emulated our format and have created their own versions of this type of food service. We continue to change and implement new techniques to perfect our signature progressive cocktail reception, and welcome you to explore this or any of the other unique food services we offer.

In addition to the progressive cocktail reception, we also offer our clients the option to have a customized seated dinner menu and a custom-seated buffet menu. Our “Seated Dinners,” “Seated Buffets” and “Progressive Buffets” all come with butler-style, passed hors d’oeuvres. Additionally, please ask about our popular cocktail reception menu that consists of a wide selection of butler-style, passed hors d’oeuvres for the duration of the event.
